Vision Game
Vision Game : The objective of the game is to appreciate the power of vision and imagination in accomplishing things
that may seem to be beyond our capacity.
Method : The game has two parts. Participants should stand apart from each other so that when they move their
hands they will not touch each other or any object or wall. Put your feet firm in one place and do not
move from there till the end of the second part.
PART 1:
Stretch your right hand in front of you. Without shifting your feet, move your hand and waist clockwise
and continue until you cannot go any further. At this time mark the spot where you stop and return to
your original place smoothly. Please remember not to shift from your place.
PART 2:
This time you do exactly the same thing as you did earlier but with your eyes closed. When you think
that you have reached the earlier spot where you stopped last time do not open your eyes. Decide that
you want to move much further beyond that point and keep moving until you cannot go any further.
Then open your eyes and compare where you stopped this time with where you stopped earlier. You
may be on the same earlier spot, may be before the earlier spot, or may be after that. Then smoothly
return to your original place.
I conducted this vision game in my class, it required 10 to 15 minutes to play this game. Every participant had a great experience about this game. All students share their experience about vision game with great confidence.
Part 1: We have not used our all capabilities to stretch the hands. We felt conscious about our body limitations, we were not able to stretch the hands fully.
Part 2: In part two we had closed our eyes, so we could used our whole capabilities and concentration of our body. Also we were free from shy so we could stretch our hands utmost than the part first. This had happen only due to the power of imagination and visualization.
